Guest guest
Okay group, Here is the problem: I have an older sister 47. She was diagnosed with Peritoneal cancer last August. It was stage 3. She had surgery after they drained about 2 gallons of acites fluid off of her abdomen. The tumor was attached to her left ovary about the size of a golf ball. The removed her peritoneal lining as well as her uterus ovaries and cervix. And did a lot of scraping too. She went through 4 months of chemo. After she was done her ca-125 count was a 2. It had been a 300 before surgery and chemo. She is swelling again and having pain in her abdomen again. She is supposed to have a PET scan and a CAT scan but is putting it off because she fears the worst. She said she will do the chemo again if it is back, but I don't think she can tolerate it. I will be seeing her this weekend and want to point her in a holistic direction this time around. I only hope she hasn't done so much damage with the chemo that she can't be helped with a holistic approach. I am open to suggestions for a better treatment for her. Thanks for your time and answers a head of time. Daphne
Guest guest
As you may know the medical industry, the federal government and the mainstream media all viciously attack any competition to mainstream medicine. The exception may be the vitamin industry although in my opinion it is flooded with placebo. Although the mainstream media failed in its attempt in the 1990's to discredit " alternative medicine " in general (pretty hard to do without specifically naming the treatments they are attacking), the current trend is to hijack the term " alternative " for use by mainstream medicine, but of course, yet another version of chemotherapy is not an alternative to chemotherapy. So don't be fooled by that. There's also a lot of small, little known treatments by individuals, but they are buried in a sea of placebo, misinformation and scams. In my opinion, only way you can likely find an effective alternative (that is really an alternative) by competent doctors quickly is to go out of the county. Most American doctors who compete with chemo and are still in practice have fled to Mexico, otherwise they end up in prison or dead. If I had to choose one treatment tomorrow I'd go with Hoxsey. They may not be the best, but they are the best known and best proven going back to the 1950's. They survived against literally hundreds of court cases. I think it was kept alive with Harry Hoxsey's oil money until that ran out and the FDA simply padlocked all 17 Hoxsey clinics across the US. There's one surviving Hoxsey clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. There's a documentary on this history of Hoxsey: Hoxsey: How Healing Becomes A Crime 24 meg and 164 meg versions http://www.altcancer.com/vidgal.htm#hoxsey There's tons of stuff show up on Hoxsey with a google search. , " Daphne " <dmcgovern wrote: > > I only hope she hasn't done so > much damage with the chemo that she can't be helped with a holistic > approach.
