Guest guest
Hi Heather, Children with a gag reflex can often take capsules if they are first softened in a bit of apple sauce. Or you can open capsules, and put the contents in food. SOME kids get hyper on apple sauce, you know if yours in one. With the algae, peanut butter or apple sauce hide the taste, purple juice (NOT koolaid!) hides the color. It is green but easy to take in smoothies too. As for quantities, this is digestive aides and whole FOODS, safe to play with! The whole idea of a specific dosage belongs in the realm of prescriptions or heroic herbs. As a general rule, use " Clarke's rule " . If a child is say fifty pounds, he is one/third the average adult weight, 150 pounds. So, you give him one-third the amount. Why don't you give me a call later today, I am severely computer-challenged right now. 866-477-0111, PST. will be home after 4 my time.
