Guest guest
What are everyone's thoughts about this drug? As I read in a recent post, I, too went to the doctor complaining of some memory loss, irritability, no motivation to do anything, kinda worthlessness and she put me on Effexor. And actually, Ive been taking it for 8 months now and I feel better than ever, but Im wondering if I have to be on this forever? I know if I miss a day I get dizzy and get these weird brain jumps (for lack of a better word!). Just wondering what everyones opinions are about this drug. I went on it because I didnt know what else to do. Frazz
Guest guest
2/14/2007, Wednesday I also have those " brain jumps " , they are withdrawal synptoms. This is a listed side effect of this drug. It may come quickly or more often for me a day or 2 later. Be careful and take care of yourself! I have been on it about 1 1/2 yrs. without any side effects (that I know of anyways). I have missed a dose here or there, but never had any dizzy spells or other problems. I too started taking it because I didn't know what else to do. I would rather treat my problem naturally, as long as it is effective. Whatever you do, do not just stop taking it! You will get very sick! You have to gradually lower your dosage to stop. I found that out the hard way. Best of luck!
