Guest guest
Hi! I'm new to the group. I'm a homeschool mom and I have a passion for natural health. Also, wanted to post and ask if anyone has a good cough remedy that works. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Kelly - my absolute favorite is B & T's Homeopathic Bronchial Syrups. They come in a daytime and nighttime versions and also a kid's one, I believe. Every winter, I used to have the worst cough. Doctors had to prescribe cough syrup with codeine in it to get me through. Then I tried B & T's product, and it worked! Even better, after a few times, I have never, ever had a cough like that again. Guest guest
It's just the company name. I think it actually may be something like Boericke and Tafel. Guest guest
Thanks Cindy for the reply. How do they taste? We have a very hard time getting my daughter to take liquid syrups or anything chewable. She'll take essential oils in almond milk and eat garlic cloves but she won't take anything that has a fake grape, orange or bubble gum flavor. Just stubborn. I guess it's flashbacks to when she was littler and we tried to get her to take certain cough syrups. Smiles, Kelly <Hi Kelly - my absolute favorite is B & T's Homeopathic Bronchial Syrups. Guest guest
Re;Colds and Flu Hi Kelly, When I feel myself getting sick, There are several things that I can do: Number 1 is all I need to do. 1)Use my silver pulser to pulse and to make col. silver to drink. This knocks out colds and flu faster than anything I know esp. if you catch it early. $115. from sotainstruments Everyone should own this machine. Or you can make one. See: a by the name of:microelectricitygermkiller and make one like it yourself for a few dollars. And make a col. silver maker too. Search , the internet or files sections of several groups. Then: 2)Veg. juicing and ginger tea. The body is too acidic. Detox and make Alkaline soups , and vegetable juicing- carrot alone is not enough;add ginger root to juices-carrot beet and celery-8-12oz's/3x's/day and add green pepper, parsley, cucumber and apple for enzymes and taste. And make ginger root tea, a great blood purifier, or add to other herbal teas- steep it, never boil it. Find a juicer at a resale shop. I buy them at Goodwill for $5-$12. generally. 3)Reiki or other energy healings 4)Pranayama 5)Herbal comb.'s such as H-12, Swedish Bitters or Km 6)H2O2 - a few drops in water and sip it to increase O2 in the body. Or ozone if you have a machine. H2O2, food grade(35%) is best, dilute 10:1 to 3.5% and put one drop in water, drink 1-2oz./1-2x/day, increase number of drops 1-2/x during first week. 7)Heat Breath in heat from a hair dryer carefully. Most germs multiply at the nose and mouth. Change their environment by 2-3 degrees and they die. 8) Sunshine for Vit. D Take off glasses and get it in your eyes. 9) Vit. C for the head colds. Start with 2000mg and take 1000mg as often as needed and before bed. Works best if you start when you first feel the cold or flu beginning. 10)Vit. A if cold/flu is in the chest 11)Zinc Suck on zinc tablets 12)Rife frequencies 13)Colors as in spectra chrome and Dinshaw will knock out all colds and flu. Drink lots of healthy water. Lots of water 10-12 glasses/day. And add Willard's Water, Flanagan Microcluster or other drops to energize the water and your body. Guest guest
I'm not too fond of the taste, but it works so well that I swallow and get it over with. The taste is gone fast. I recommended it to a friend, and she didn't think it tasted bad at all. I'd say it's more of a strong flavor vs. something awful. I wonder - and am hoping! - that the kid's version is milder tasting. It definitely is better than the taste of OTC cough syrups or those weird fake fruit/gum flavors, in my opinion. But I understand those stubborn little kids! Used to have two myself who now are grown and *still* give me the *ewwwww* when I recommend this or gargling with ACV, etc. Though I can always tell when it's bad enough because then they voluntarily use alternative remedies and listen to Mom's advice!
