I know all the not so healthy stuff about plastics.. and I have

purchased some glass tupperware type containers w/ glass tops, not

plastic tops.

What about plastic cutting boards, plastic bags, are these dangerous

as well?

And about the microwave... What are yalls thoughts on having one. I

have seen all the posts about how bad it is and all that, I used to

thaw my meat on the defrost button in the microwave, what is the best

way to unthaw meat prior to cooking?

Thanks,, I am new to all this changing for the better, ever so slowly

but am having a very hard time convinsing the Hubby about how bad the

machine of death is (microwave).

Namaste,

Meg

I have one of those metal thawing boards that I use.

It thaws quite fast and definitely alot faster than

running under cool water. I don't cook a lot of meat

anymore as we're mostly vegetarian or vegan at my

house.
