Just a quick note to share my Oil Swishing/Pulling Results. I can't

believe I hadn't heard of this miraculous miracle therapy before. I

have only been doing it for a few days and already the dark circles

have gone under my eyes..my teeth look abit whiter and although we

have been going through a bit of detox over the past two days, I have

had incredible energy.

Another bonus is that I am due to get new glasses, as when I look at

numbers I have to really strain to see them even with glasses on.

Yesterday I had to look up a number and it looked magnified! So my

eyesight must also be improving. Amazing.

I read on one site that they are looking in India to make it a cure

for Glaucoma..so my dad is trying it. He said already his eyes

aren't so sore...so watch this space.

Thanks for mentioning it in this group..otherwise it could of been

years before I found it.

Yeah, its great. I just started doing it a few weeks ago and its done a heck of

a job removing ten years worth of smoking stains from my teeth. I've only been

doing it on the weekends too, because thats the only time I seem to be able to

make time for it. I'm wondering if I shouldn't start trying to multitask it out

and do it while I'm doing other things? I've read that you should take the time

to sit and be calm while you do it, but if I can't pull 15 minutes out of the

day to do that, is it better that I do it on the go then to not do it at all?

Jessika,

I do my morning oil pulling, while getting dressed. It is a time where

I can be calm but not still. I have a routine of putting cream on my

skin, so it fits right in. I'm sure it would do better if one could be

still since you would concentrate on what you are doing.

I can already tell how great this is for my body. I've had a week or

so of feeling tired and like crap. The first three days, my lymph node

on the right of my throat swelled up each day after oil pulling. My

teeth feel great.

Also, someone mentioned not being able to do it for 15-20 minutes. I

started out with 5 minutes and gradually worked it up. Even with 5

minutes, the oil was 'used up'. I highly recommend finding a way to do

this at least once a day.

I have taken to doing it in the mornings while I put my gym bag together. I can

really tell the difference now that I'm doing it every day. My skin is clearing

up and I'm not experiencing pre menstral cramps like I normally do this time of

month.

I do 15 minutes of callanetics or yoga while I am oil

swishing..mainly to take my mind off it. I am a bit of a gagger

first thing in the morning..so I find it really hard not to throw

up!

I started at 5 mins, but now up to 12 mins..I am still trying really

hard to do the full 15 mins.

The original recipe for Oil Pulling suggests you only use Sunflower

Oil or Sesame oil. I can imagine that Sunflower Oil tastes alot

nicer.

You may suffer from a bit of a detox..its been over a week now and I

am just starting to get the headaches and the flu type feeling...but

I gather that this is part of the process of releasing toxic waste

from my body so I am staying with it and enjoying the other benefits.

I would love to hear about others experiences using it...its

motivating and I think keeps you on track.

Diana, great job. Keep it up! I was curious though....do you work full time

outside the home...Im curious because Id like to try it and dont want to be

missing any work due to the sickness it seems to cause before the cures happen.

Is it safe to do oil pulling when you are pregnant? I just found out that I am

pregnant and wonder if I should change my habits.

Diana,

Probably once you go up to the full amount of time which I believe

is 20-30 minutes you will not have the detox effects anymore. I

don't do this myself but read about it and tried it once about 5

years ago. I just can't keep my mouth shut that long! With a dog

and a teenager in the house that's pretty hard, lol.

Sharon

PS: I did find the original email about the water therapy right

after I sent my question. How many glasses of water did you use?

This is such a great, cheap remedy.

Hi there...I do work from home so it is so much easier. The detoxing

isn't that bad..just a feeling of not being totally with it and

headaches...but nothing serious. I have found since I have included

the Water Therapy straight after (which is literally drinking 6 cups of

warm water one after the other )I feel so much better..think it is

pushing it through alot quicker.

Is the water therapy safe when you are pregnant? Sorry, I've never been

pregnant before and I want to make sure I do everything right.

I would be really cautious about the water therapy because your kidneys can only

handle so much water at a time. When your pregnant, your body mass (meaning

liquids/blood) increases dramatically and works all of your organs harder. I

wouldn't do anything that would tax them additionally. I don't know if you all

remember this but wasn't there a woman in California who just recently died by

drinking too much water as part of some morning radio show? I'm sure that was

an extreme case but I would be curious as to what the limit is.

I agree and recently in the news was a little girl who

died when her parents made her drink too much water as

a punishment.

1-2 Gallons a day spread throughout the day.
