Guest guest
Hi Cathleen, thank you so much for responding. It is always nice to know someone who can understand what I feel. I have never seen a homeopathic person before so unsure how to go about it or what procedures they will do to determine what bothers me or what my illnesses are. But I guess it is somewhat the same like with a doctor who gives their patients forms for blood work, or presciptions on things. However, I am tired of the ones or medicines that do not work let alone doctors who only treat by lab results and not the patience and their symptoms. I have an RAI done almost 4 years ago and since then went from hyperthyroidism to now hypo and it seems that I am spiraling down faster regarding my health. With syntroid I have more symptoms than anything else and most of the time I can't remember things, hence the side effects of having brain fog. Question: what were those tiny pellets that she gave you and waited for hours during your first consultation with a hemeopathic person? I'm curious if I need to supplement further with my hypo besides trying to eat better (mostly organic foods) and not taking vitamins along with my hypo pills. Now with ARmour is it true that I can take it with food? I often been told that Armour (and syntroid) must be taken with an empty stomach prefererably in the morning. I try to do that then I take my vitamins in the afternoon as a pick me up because when I was on syntroid, I often feel more sluggish, tired, sleepy, achy, and such in the afternoon so I need something to keep me going until almost bed time. Thanks, Mrs. A -------------- Original message from " cathleensp " <cathleen: -------------- I know the dance well. Back in the late 1980's I, too, suffered from fatigue, dizziness, unclear comprehension, etc., etc. I was started on Synthroid, as well as B12 shots, diet restrictions and lots of other procedures and suggested procedures. Through the hand of Spirit I was guided to an MD who, after trying all she knew in her bag of tricks (and sending me out to specialists including an Endo), it was apparent that my symptoms were not improving as hoped. It was then that my MD suggested I see a homeopath because " homeopathy helps many people " . At that point I had NEVER EVEN HEARD of the word, let alone understood what this might be all about. Happily the RN in this doctor's office was also a homeopath. I saw her; she took extensive case notes, and at the end of two hours of consultation, she gave me some tiny pellets to place under my tongue while I sat in the waiting room. The rest, as they say, is history. Regular appointments with my homeopath over the next couple of years brought me to a place where I was able to get off of the Synthroid--my thyroid healed itself. I am now not only healed and vibrant these many years later, I am also a practicing homeopath myself (the magic of the cure, my gratitude, driving curiosity and my Inner Voice prompted me to do so). I know that there are many times when I respond to a post here at this site suggesting that locating a homeopath in your area could very well be the answer to what might appear to be an acute condition, but which is actually a more deeply seated constitutional condition. Homeopathy works its healing from the inside out. It works to right and balance all systems of the body; to bring the entire body back to homeostasis.......into balance. We look at health as not an absence of symptoms, but as the promotion of overall vitality matched with a joie de vivre. I hope this helped you. Guest guest
Dear Mrs. A.......First of all, it looks as though Jenny has experience with and good answers for your Armour questions. As far as homeopathy is concerned, one remedy does not fit all. The remedies are prepared in FDA regulated pharmacies, are made from plant, mineral or biological substances, and are in either liquid or pellet form. The remedy that I first received (and the one which began the healing mode in my body) was especially selected for my symptoms (mind and body), as well as having taken into account my family history. I'd like to tell you that you could go and simply purchase " X " and things would turn around for you, but that would be irresponsible of me and frankly not true. In chronic conditions such as yours, the proper homeopathic remedy needs to be recommended by a professional homeopath; someone who has taken your case and has an understanding of the dis-ease process being presented; someone who is both knowledgeable and an objective observer. I'm not trying to sell you anything, truly Mrs. A. I simply wish to support your understanding of how this type of medicine works. In my case, I was first given a remedy which spoke to the fact that there was a history of tuberculosis in my family (grandparents); that remedy was followed in time by a couple of other remedies as we " peeled the onion " of my case and finally arrived at my constitutional remedy, which is Belladonna. The healing journey has been a process of not only relieving myself of symptoms, but of relieving myself of wrong thinking, of prompting lifestyle changes, of expanding my capacity to receive good in all ways. My experience of working with homeopathy has been nothing short of miraculous.....and that's the truth. As far as recommending remedies for ACUTE symptoms (colds, flu, insect bites, colic, cradle cap, nerve pain due to injury, travelers' diarrhea, etc. -- self limiting conditions), I'll be presenting a teleseminar training before too long which educates my students on the safe and confident use of homeopathy in everyday life. Stay tuned. I hope this helps. Cathleen Springer Certified Homeopath/ Homeopathy Teleseminar Training , army108 wrote: > > Hi Cathleen, thank you so much for responding.
