Guest guest
Hi All, When I was 10,[i'm 47 now] I had to have pins put in both hips and for the last three months I've been having pain in my hips. The pain has been so great that I can't walk and have to use crutches. I went to the bone doctor and he said my hips are fine. He said I have arthritis in my lower spine and it is pinching the nerves. He wanted me to have an MRI done, and then he said he might have to do surgery. Is there anything that I can do for this? This is really painfully. Blessings, Joanie
Guest guest
HI, I have the same sort of problem except it is in my neck as well as my hips, from a car accident. I have been using MSM, every other day and on opposite days have been taking turmeric. Both anti-inflammatory and greatly reducing pain. I have also been drinking Kombucha every day. I think these 3 things are keeping me out of surgery right now. Hope that helps you, Kim Richard Pabon & Kimberly Lemieux http://.360.com/iceblueyes3 Mi Encanto Arabians Where the Magic Begins..... Guest guest
Quantum Biofeedback has been a life saver for my partner. He has sero negative spondilitis in his sacral spine and severe pain...2 years ago he was on a cane and no flexibilty with tremendous pain. Today after a year on the SCIO device, he no longer uses the cane, pinched nerves are gone and he has flexibilty! He bought the device so he could have it available for use at home and then we decided we wanted to do this for others also. Guest guest
Look into using magnets for pain and circulation. They can be extremely helpful in cases like yours. If you email me off group I will send you an article about back surgery and some stuff about using magnets. Guest guest
i have a family history of degenerative spinal arthritis, and am having some troubles...i'm 49...it's mostly in my neck and thoracic spine right now, and i am in pain 24/7, so i feel you....i have an mri this friday, and things are getting weird...there are aspects of my job i can no longer do because of pain, and my employer's having a fit.... now i'm not trying to pick a fight (really), but i don't place much stock in magnets....i suggest yoga (modified, if necessary to accomodate your abilities), massage, and acupuncture...also, i would look at your diet, and eleminate foods that contribute to inflammation...lastly, there are herbs and dietary supplements that can help...devil's claw is good for arthritic conditions....omega 3 supplements (fish body oil, flaxseed oil) help decrease inflammation...and white willow bark is as good as any nsaid, provided you have no aspirin allergy... i wish you less pain, and more joy...good fortune to you.... doug rawlings gardens / rising sun organics , <energy_now wrote: > > Look into using magnets for pain and circulation. Guest guest
lildancingleaves, Did the doctor get a good look at the pins in your hips? Are they still intact, in good condition?
