As with much of homeopathy, one must understand the underlying cause before

recommending a remedy for ongoing symptoms. There are a number of remedies

which

treat enuresis, each with its own characteristics -- such as bedwetting in first

sleep or

after a head injury or when it is due solely to habit or when there is a strong

odor, etc.,

etc. I recommend that your little grandson see a homeopath to determine the

best course.

I would love this info too. My 7 year old daughter is really struggling with

this every night. She's also a very heavy sleeper.

i suggest to make him go to the restroom right before the sleep time, and also

limit his liquid intake at about 6pm and it takes a while but it really works

personally i had same problem for 16 yrs but this eliminated the problem

Hi,

Homeopathy can help. If he was previously fine, then started this it also

could be something that changed in his life. I would seek a professional

Homeopath though so he can be treated properly.

I remember reading this article about bedwetting. It said to take eight

books and place four each under the foot post of the bed. After one

week, remove one set of books. After two weeks, remove another set.

Keep removing a set of books every week. The women that wrote the

article said that by the fouth week her daughter no longer wet the bed.

Has something to do with the kidney or bladder being higher than than

the brain-so the brain gets the signal.

I don't know if this works. It sure would be a harmless thing to try.

This reminds me of when my kids were little (I am 71) The doctor told me to

put books under the foot of the bed and make them sleep on their stomachs to

stop coughing. It worked.

Bedwetting can be a structural problem where nerve supply from the

spine is affected, usually from a trauma or poor posture.

This becomes a causitive factor and no amount of symptom treatment

will succeed. Check out your grandson with an Holistic Osteopath or

Chiropractor. Help by email is difficult, but we could try if you

wish.

No fluids after dinner-loo before bedtime--make sur the bed is warm---cold

sheets can encorage bed wetting--- i use to wet the bed til about 8 or

9-------i needed to go and would half wake up but not want to get out into the

cold and would fall back to slep and dream i got up and went to the

bathroom----------- i was also scared there was some thing under my bed and

avoided putting my legs out----the child could have some other anxity -not yet

discussed-such as fear of the dark-----being bullied at school-not good at

sport-things that may disturb the sleep causing a half wake stress-

causing the bathroom dream.

Have you ever taken your child to a chiropractor? There are many kids

who go to chiropractors and the problem is taken care of. Look it up-

just make sure you get a good chirpractor.
