Recurring boils are often associated with uncontrolled Diabetes.

Late onset diabetes can be present for years undetected.

Does this lady suffer from fatigue, is she overweight, does she get up to

urinate in the night.

She should get her urine checked.

Good luck.

Thanks, Susie. I've passed this on to her.

I didn't know that about the link between Diabetes and recurring boils. She

definitely needs to get that ruled in or ruled out.

Hi my name is Nancy and I'm new here. I'm a nurse who beleives in

natural first. For boils I've had 100% effectiveness with bacon

fat. Place it directly on the boil under a bandaid. Change it

daily, within 3 day the boil will drain root and all.

When I was a child we moved to a new house that had a water well. I

really don't know if that was the cause of my brother getting an

outbreak of boils (we were pretty little, still in elementary school),

but they way Dad dealt with it was to mix molasses with sulphur

powder. Sounds pretty icky -- but we both took a spoonful of it every

morning before going to school -- and it cleared everything up.

Another interesting old medical thing I learned from him (but he never

used on us) was when he was little (he'd be 95 now if he were still

alive, just to give you a historical sense on this) he cut his thigh

very badly - quite deep. His Mom just gathered up some cobwebs and

stuffed it into the cut to stop the bleeding.

We have lots of cobwebs around (living in the country), but reaching

for them would not be my first inclination!!

My dad had us take a tablespoon of this every spring as a tonic. It was

flowers of Sulphur mixed with molasses. Probably have to search the Internet for

it. My dad was born in 1913, so it is an old remedy.too bad the old remedies

are not used today. We would all be healthier.

Peace, Thyme
