Guest guest
hi every one! i've just joined the group as i'm looking for help with an aromatherapy query. basically my mum was in a really serious road traffic accident recently and as a result shes presently in phisio as she hasn't really got much movement in her right elbow. the therapist has recommended massage as her lack of movement is due to severe muscle contraction (she just had an elbow replacement so its not a bone thing) i thought that essential oils would be a really good idea but i'm not sure which ones to use, there is no open wound any more, shes seeing a cranial oesteopath frequantly and i've been treating the injury homeopathically ie; arnica and the other trauma remedies. so far i've being looking at chamomile, black pepper and lavender based on the idea that these are muscle relaxants. but aromatherapy's not really my area of expertise, anyone got any better ideas? thanks in advance guys! caroline
