Guest guest
I don't know if any of you have heard of the Carapan Spa - but I just love the scent of their massage oil. I am trying to come up with my own or find a place that already has a great smelling lotion for wholesale. I like earth scents like sandalwood, with possible hints of lime, vanilla, unsure really - can any one lend some advice my way. Of course I will try to cater differentscents for different outcomes, but for just mt general swedish massage I wold like to have one scent that I am known for - not sure if any of this makes sense - It is early here in WV. You will find many people will not like your one scent if you have scents you may want to allow the client to choose , I find this works best epecially with male clients. Most of my clients are male..however some like scents. To be safe I offer them the mints..spermint peppermint, and of course Lavender. Some times I offer chocolate to them, the ones that know say that men respond best to food scents. Females love them also. Guest guest
I was just talking about this with my sister today. We have a lady who does the best massage ever but we were saying it would be nice to have some sort of fragrance to enhance the whole experience. I guess you would have to be careful that the oils you pick will be ok on all skins. Good luck and let us know how you get on. Guest guest
Why not find an excellent, intuitive aromatherapist in your area, one who also works with just scents, and have him get to know you and mix something up for you? ~Toni On 6/2/07, Please Dont IM me If you are not in OC or not interested in a therapeutic massage. <lavenderraines wrote: > > --- In <%40>, > " Geo " <nrgeology wrote: > > > > I don't know if any of you have heard of the Carapan Spa - but I just > > love the scent of their massage oil. Guest guest
Personally, I am not a massage Therapist, but I do enjoy essential oils. My favorite smell is a mix of lavendar and lemon. It might sound a little odd, but it is very relaxing and refreshing. -Whitney > , " Geo " <nrgeology@> wrote: > > > > I don't know if any of you have heard of the Carapan Spa - but I just > > love the scent of their massage oil. Guest guest
Hi : That is interesting to read. If you are looking for one scent for a good massage either before or after bath try sandalwood scent.Lavender is too thin for my taste, but that is also an option. But for medicinal and other physical motivations you may have to consult professionals and books by specialists.Never combine them because each is meant to go along a specific purpose. As in drinks, never mix levels,,unless you prefer getting mixed up and end up in a mess of your own making. Shall be interested in hearing about the outcome. dr.vridhasubbu " Please Dont IM me If you are not in OC or not interested in a therapeutic massage.
