Hello everyone..

I just wanted to thank all the woman who so caring and supportively

emailed me when I joined this group and wanted to let them know that as

of last Wednesday I have officially moved out, and am living for the

first time in over 35 years in an abusive stress free enviornment!!!

I am letting myself absorb the peace but have to admit I still feel

strange about it and a bit scared. I know that alot of strength will be

needed in the days ahead with all the legalities but I am heading in

the right direction.. Your words and comfort and support here helped me

gather the strength I needed to finally say " NO MORE " and I appreciate

it so much..

Thank you all again..

Lainey! You're awesome! You shine! Give yourself a big hug from me.....and

allow

yourself time to discover your beauty. Some days will feel like a cans of

worms, for sure.

Other days will be joyful, peaceful, easy.

You've got everything you need right where you are. Forces seen and unseen

gather to

support you day in and day out. Doing just a little bit everyday to move ever

closer to

your heart's goals is all that is ever asked of you (of me, too).

I'm proud of you. I'm happy for you. And I'll continue to hold you in thought

and in

prayer.

Best wishes to you, Lainey, for a successful life. I'm sure it must feel

strange right now, but it will pass. Hold true to your path.

Wow, Lainey, I am so darn proud of you! I am standing up, applauding

you. Can you feel it? :-)

Absorb that peace, and revel in the start of a new journey. You will be

so much better off. If you're strong enough to leave, you are strong

enough to manage the rest. It had to take a major amount of strength

to move out so never doubt that you can do it.

Way to go!

Awww - thanks, Lainey, for that sweet comment. It's just like you to make

me feel good when you are going through such change. I can't wait to

see what all you become and what you accomplish now that you can find

your own, true self. I hope to continue to hear about what's happening.

It's very encouraging, and I bet you would be a shining example for

others, too.

Those moments of weakness and doubt will continue to fall away. Notice

them lightly, then let them move on, and focus more on the times when

you feel that great sense of hope and strength.

I'm still so excited and thrilled for you! You go after this new life big

time, okay? :-)

Take care,

Welcome, Elisa! I agree; it is so amazing to see the warmth and caring and

support that pours out in this forum. I love it! There's nothing better than

human beings supporting other human beings. This, truly, can create the

I know Lainey will flourish; you can tell it from the *sound* of her posts.

I wish the same to you, too, Elisa, and for all of us.

Hi Toni..

I know at least with me change has never been easy for me, yet I also

know that if i can make it thru the strange feeling the change

usually turns out well.. unfortunately I have avoided change for a

long time and things feel very strange.. thank you for your

encouraging words though I really appreciate it..

No thanks needed Cindy.. I truly feel what I said..

a bit of a difficult spot right now.. but as they say this too shall

pass.. I just need to find alittle strength right now.. I think to

myself alot how much easier this transition would have been had it

made it when I wasnt dealing with any health issues which sometimes

make everything harder..but that was then and this is now and now is

to be dealt with.. Thank you again for being the speical caring

supportive person you are : )

Oh thank you Leese, your words are so uplifting.. exactly what I need

right now.. I was speaking to my daughter the other day and she said

to me what I was saying was so lacking in self esteem and

negativeness which has to be from years of believeing what I was

hearing..I thought to myself he finally succeeded but then thought

just for a while..and I am grateful that she is pointing that out to

me.. sometimes it goes by unaware.. I am not sure yet, how to combat

those feelings and that they are a part of me now but hopefully in

time things will change little by little just like your idea

of " peeling the layers " the few times when he left, my daughter

always told me I " blossomed " so between the times of fear and doubt

and having my whole enviornment changed I am trying to figure out how

to encourage bloom once again..

thank you for caring and being so supportive Leese, I so appreciate

it..

Health and Happiness to you also..

Lainey,

I am glad to hear that my words are helpful to you. I like the way your

daughter described you as blossoming.

I then imagined that a flower could not blossom if it was constantly being

placed in the middle of a footpath!

The difference between those other times is that He left. This time, You are

the one who left so I imagine you will really begin to become stronger

quicker since you are in control this time.

A good idea for you now would be to find an interest and take a class in

that topic so you will meet like-minded people and hopefully form a bond

with a good role-model type friend.

Health & Happiness To You,

~Leese
