wonderings about Stevia (was splenda)

I would say that is true for the green powdered stevia...straight from the plant. But is it also so for the stevioside? For the white powdered stevia and the clear liquid stevia? It is from the stevia plant, but only a portion of it. Processed, extracted. Does anyone know for sure if these types of stevia are safe? I have been wondering for awhile.

Hoping,

Meaira

RE: [herbal remedies] Splenda

Stevia is not a sugar substitute. It is a completely different plant that just happens to be sweet.
