anti-depressents

I was writing this whole long email and the power went out but here is the short

story..

Someone very close to me is on celexa, an antidepressant drug. When she first

started taking it 2 years ago, she would get sick to her stomach, then that

subsided. At the beginning of the summer, I introduced her to a healthier

lifestyle. Before then she was getting sick all the time and on antibiotics.

Through a combination of diet, colloidal silver, herbal remedies and green tea,

she has not gotten sick or been on antibiotics at all since starting this

change. Recently, though she has started to get sick to her stomach from the

celexa again. She has trouble sleeping sometimes. I think her body is

regaining some of it's energy and healing powers and trying to detoxify itself

of the drug. I don't know though. I am confused here. It seems to make some

sense though?? When her symptoms went away did that mean the drug toxified her

body so much that it didn’t have the power to combat the toxins from the drug?

This seems completely logical but I don’t know if I am on the right track.

She is deathly afraid of going off the drug. I can't blame her. It has gotten

her away from having stress related anxiety attacks. Obviously it was just

getting at the symptoms not the cause but it allowed her to function normally

again. I ran into this website http://www.prozactruth.com/taper.htm#currently

It has info on how to taper off of anti-depressants. It requires one take

immunocal to raise glutathione levels in the body. From my research it seems

that immunocal is 100% natural. I know this isn't an herbal remedy but I

respect the people on this list and would like some opinions and/or feedback on

this supplement and this method. Maybe there is an herbal alternative to this?

She has come so far and cleanses and additional diet changes are not really an

option here. I feel that this hurdle is instrumental in her road to living a

healthier life. I also feel that if I can help her get over this I can convince

her to start taking some kind of total nutrition daily to prevent re-occurrence

of the symptoms.

Any help or any pointing towards the right direction would be greatly

appreciated.

Rob
