I think everyone needs to realize that we all make our own choices about how we will heal ourselves and when, if ever, we will go to a "medico". It is not for one of us to condemn another for their choices... this list is for herbal remedies and the hope of teaching everyone how to become healthy and heal themselves so that they don't have to think about making that choice. Yes, a broken bone would send you to the hospital, (unless your name is DOC..hehehe). but many diseases you can cure yourself at home and even find herbs for pain.

No Booing here mam...

I am genuinely interested because my honey, Wayne, went for some kind of scan to see his gallbladder a couple of years ago.

They thought it was contracted (in reality it was so rotten or diseased it was just shrunken real bad). So, they gave him a normal dose for his size. Nothing happened. They gave him another full dose, nothing happened...so, they gave him another half dose. Nothing happened...

After all this, he was a little wobbly legged, but you'd think that a normal man that's only vice is a pot of coffee a day and a pack of cigarettes every two days would have been zonked out for days or something!

He is so afraid of hospitals he walked out (instead of waiting for me to pick him up) and walked two miles to his cousins house! And, didn't get run over!

That's what I was talking about...what if he really had to have something terrible done?! I'm worried that there is no pain meds that would help him!

Come on, gemme the goods on this stuff...Please don't boo me off the list but I have had numerous serious surgeries in the past and was quite grateful for a morphine drip. My 80 year old Mom had a morphine drip when she had her knee surgery last March and I can say that I was very grateful to have it to help alleviate her suffering. This is always a last line of defense and one I

can say we have only agreed to when faced with serious surgery...nothing laproscopic but the major deep excavations that are sometimes necessary. Believe me when I tell you I am no wimp and have undergone a lot without the aid of anesthesia or painkillers but there will always be a part of me that is very grateful for the morphine for me and mine when we are faced with excruciating pain.
