Viv......I helped my brother in-law get off an antidepressant ( XANAX) some years back. I admire you for doing this. First off I would recommend Dragon Snot , Panther Piss and the Female Formula daily. More data on your diet would help in figuring out an exact program for you. You can give Doc a call to get these things ASAP and talk over any additional things to help. YOU CAN DO THIS !!!......Mary O

[herbal remedies] New member-help needed

I've just joined the group and would like some help/advice on a few things. First off, I hardly ever go to the doctor. Don't like them, don't trust them. Unfortunately, about 4 yrs. ago, a situation arose where everything was so overwhelming ( mother's alzheimer ) that I was diagnosed with clinical depression. So, I have been on antidepressants ever since. Last drs. visit was 3 yrs. ago.Doctor doesn't seem to be of any help as to getting off of them and since I'm 54, and now have the menopause thing, I have bought over the counter herbal tabs that have helped. I also take garlic and ginseng. I just purchased a book on 5-HTP. I know I just can't stop taking the antideppressant cold so would like some advice and also what to take in it's place. I have read all kinds of things on mixing and taking different things so am skeptical. Today is day 1 for me as far as reducing my dosage by 1/2. Any help would be greatly appreciated I hope in the future, I can learn alot from the group. Thanks, VivFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
