This is my 4th day on half of my Effexor XR and so far so good. Does anyone have any idea on how long I should do this before I stop all together. I can't drop down to 1/4th because I am taking the capsules. I stopped smoking "cold turkey" about 16 yrs. ago and never looked back but that was in my younger days. A little more info on myself. I live in the country/woods with hubby. Have horses,( mini's ) and the usual dogs and cats. They are my lifeline. There is nothing more peaceful to me as going into the barn, sitting in the hay and listening to the horses munch. I am basically a loner. I do have one close friend. I am 5'4" and weight 190 #. So, I am overweight. I do get physical exercise around here and I really do not overeat. I also do not eat alot of sweets. Cereal in the morning, sandwich or "cup o noodles " for lunch and an average supper. My one passion is popcorn. As I look back, most of the weight was gained since taking these pills. My average weight is about 125-130 #. Guess I'll stop here as this is getting quite long. I also have a huge problem with acid reflux. Seems to me all of you would get kind of tired hearing about people's physical problems but it feels good to me knowing someone is out there that can maybe give me some insight on where I go from here. I've committed myself to " taking back my life " but I need some direction as to what to take, how often and things like that. Also, can I purchase some of the formulas or do I make them up myself ? Processed cereal ? and processed noodles? white bread? I-YI-Yi! Try fruits and veggies. Organic fruits and veggeis! Eat as close to vegetarian as you can, and avoid processed food. >>>My one passion is popcorn. Do you use an air popper. or the microwave packets?
