Guest guest
I had that and went thru the same thing. Took about 8 weeks - I thought it was gonna last FOREVER! I was told they COULD lead to cancer if left alone. I finally went back in (this was done at some clinic where you get a different dr every time) to check things out. I was told I had some sort of STD - that my husband was unfaithful and brought something home. The doctor nearly died when I came up off the table. And again when I went home and told my husband. Antibiotics did take care of the problem. I figured I got something off the cyro tool. Becky Nothing is fool-proof to a talented fool. Guest guest
Hello all. I have a VERY serious question...kinda long, but bear with me please. One of my best friends had an abnormal papsmear. They found she had "lesions" on her cervix. Now...they did a biopsy I guess, where they basically took chinks of flesh from her and she was in a LOT of pain. Just last week she had to go in for "Cryo Therapy"? Where they basically froze her vagina, thawed it, refroze it so they could remove these lesions. Were they precancerous? I am NOT sure, as the physician wasn't very informative OR friendly. Here is the problem. There is an expected discharge for a while after the procedure, something about the cells shedding...anyway...she is having MAJOR drainage..she has never had a baby, but what she describes to me sounds like the feeling of a woman'w water breaking when going into labor...save the heated feeling of the fluid. She says it is VERY thin..and she is sooo uncomfortable. She got a prescription (I can't stand Rx's..that is why I am no longer a pharmacy tech!!!) for something called ACV or something like that..what it says is sulfame....can't recall..but a sulfur cream she is to use at night. She has used it for a couple of days, and they said it would help to slow the flow or dry it, something. But, she says it STINKS and she is at her wits end. Everytime she sneezes, moves, stands up, sits down, she is in fear of some leakage as that is how much and fast this liquid is flowing. I want to know, has anyone in this group experienced that or know someone who has? What, if anything could they do? and is there an herbal something, suppository, douche anything that she could use, or an herb she could consume in some way to lessen this flow? Any and all info would be appreciated...I don't know what to tell her...I have never even HEARD of that until recently. I know they "freeze" and remove lesions..but what she described to me sounded like some kind of alien experiment...Thank you for taking the time to read!!! Love... Guest guest
Blaze, My daughter-in-law went thru this...Funny thing was they thought this might be why she wasn't getting pregnant... she was pregnant when they did it... like 2 weeks... she did have a healthy baby boy...my grandson.. anyway they told her that they were not cancerous but if she did not have them removed they could turn cancerous... her treatment was a bit different as I recall but she was uncomfortable for a week or so... but is fine now. Guest guest
I also had this procedure done about 10 yrs ago. I was told that they were pre-cancer cells. I remember quite a bit of drainage (a little bit less volume than a regular period, but clear drainage). I was told that it was just the tissue thawing. I remember pain during the procedure, but not a lot of pain in the following weeks, just discomfort. I was told that the chance of having the cells convert from regular cells to pre-cancer cells was increased by early (in the teens) sexual intercourse. They said " something-something " (can't remember) about contact w/the cervix before it is " something- something " increases the chance that the cells might mutate. So that is why it is best to wait until later to have sex. Don't know if this was a scare tactic or if there was actually any truth to it.
