Guest guest
Hi Jen. I used to sing - went to college on a voice scholarship. Was trying to remember a few of the tips I used. Sounds to me you're on the right track. As you probably know, avoid chocolate and dairy products right before singing. I remember sucking on wet teabags immediately before a performance. Plenty of relaxation, just sitting and thinking about the music was good. Lots of deep yawning aids relaxation. Light stretching, too. The alkaline foods you use are great. Guest guest
One trick that I've learned is to eat an apple just before singing, you will have more saliva after and your throat won't get dry as fast.
