Hi There

I was wondering if anyone here has heard of treating rheumatoid arthritis with borage oil or fish oil. If so how much should one take? If not, what other natural treatments might there be? Thank you very much. I tried the archives but couldn't get anything to come up.

I understand that oranges and grapefruit are supposed to have some ingredient that helps with the pain.... also zinc.....

I would use panther piss, MSM, for sure.pearlmoon wrote:

Hi Lynn,

The reasoning behind Borage oil is due to the EFA's and GLA that are in it. Evening Primrose oil is another. The best source, however, is Udo's oil.

EFA's are a must have in anyones diet and most people don't get enough from the foods they eat.

Rheumatoid arthritis is best treated by changing ones diet. The only reason we get arthritis, rheumatism and rheumtoid arthritis is because of our choice of diet. We make our body too acidic for too long. All those toxins, mucus, and acids have to go somewhere so they settle in joints, muscles, organs etc. Yes, you can beat it just like any other dis-ease but you have to do the work.

The EFA's are omega 3,6,9 fatty acids that our bodies do not manufacture. We have to supply them from the fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds that we eat.

Start using ACV with honey or the PP to alkalinize your body. Adding fresh lemon juice to each and every glass of distilled water or RO water that you drink will also help do this too.

Hi Lynn,

Whew, you had me worried. RO water is Reverse Osmosis. About as good as filtered water can get. Distilled is much better and preferably solar distilled. No I have not made my solar distillation unit yet. Dang, can't seem to find all the ingredients necessary.

Re: [herbal remedies] RA question

Oh Don

I can't thank you enough. The information wasn't for me. I don't have RA, and I think that's because I belong to this list with such good advice on diet and natural remedies. It is for a friend of mine whom I'm sure will be very grateful. By the way, what's RO water?

Many Blessings

Lynn
