Guest guest
This is an excerpt from a message way back in the archives regarding panther piss and alkaline/acid balances... thought you would all find this interesting reading. She says the body automatically balances potassium and sodium levels. Not true. How can you balance it, if you happen to be deficient in one or the other or both? If they weren't balanced, that would show up in the typical blood test they give just about any time you go to the doc. And the imbalance would give you sick symptoms that would drive you to the doc. Or if you have heart disease or serious blood pressure problems. If your blood pressure is ok, your potassium-sodium levels are likely ok. Whooooooa! Way off there. Balderdash! Poppycock! Faaaaaaaalse data. Pick a datum in the last paragraph and it's false. Baaaaaaaad data. The body likewise controls the alkaline-acid balance automatically. It tries to and not always sucessfully. When these are off, you will exhibit symptoms and they show up immediately on screening tests. Hogwash! And I'll show you why down below. She says this is not normal stuff to do to a body and you could screw yourself up with this. Factually, she just doesn't know what she's talking about. She's been hanging around the Medicos waaaay toooooo long. Panther Piss has been around for decades and used by such stalwarts as Dr. Bernard Jensen et al. I've never even heard of so much as one negative effect experienced by its use, and I've been using it and recommending it for over 15 years. Actually, I thought most of us eat mostly acidic foods and the body needs more alkaline foods (at least I think that's what it is), so I didn't think the body would hardly ever be in balance alkaline/acide wise. Now you're on the right track, and this is true data as far as it goes, and as you can see conflicts with all the doo doo above:o)Can you give me any more information on this and perhaps a source for the info so I know what the heck I'm doing? Her letter came after I sent this to the list, or I would have asked all of this at once. Most definitely. Read on Kiddo ;o) Many, many books have been written on this subject and one of the best is "Your Health... Your Choice" by Dr. M. Ted Morter, Jr. M.A. ISBN # 0-8119-0667-1 Did you know that you have to lose up to 40% of the Calcium in your bones (Osteoporosis) before it even shows up in an X-Ray??? Did you know that the blood is the last to go acid/alkaline ratio wise when a person is on his last breath and on his way out??? How is this and why is it pertinent to what we're talking about here? ANSWER: OUR BODIES COVER FOR US WHEN WE ABUSE THEM WITH BAD TOXIC DIETS AND DESTRUCTIVE TOXIC LIFESTYLES! When we eat too many acid ash producing foods in ratio to the amount of exercise we get(exercise blows off acid and brings our bodies closer to alkaline), and the amount of alkaline ash foods we eat, our bodies will pull minerals out of our bodies' glands, bones, tissues, etc to compensate for this out of whack acid/alkaline ratio. The first mineral it'll pull to do this with is Organic Sodium (Notice, I didn't say Inorganic Sodium as found in table salt). The second mineral it'll pull is Calcium. Some organs can be considerably out of balance acid/alkaline wise, and still manage to survive, but not so the blood. The blood has a very fine tolerance (If I remember correctly, it's some where between 7.3 and 7.5 on the scale), and if it goes out of this range, we're dead. Plain and simple. The body will therefore do anything to keep the blood in this range and will rob any organ, tissue or gland of elements and minerals to ensure this ratio is maintained for the good of the entire organism. This is why blood tests are so limiting, misleading and why in some cases a person's blood in the hospital may look almost normal up to just a few hours before their death. When the body can no longer pull out organic sodium (due to depletion or an imbalance in the sodium potassium ratio), it'll start to pull out calcium to counter act this imbalance in the acid/alkaline ratio, and eventually we get arthritis, osteoporosis, bursitis, and a myriad other diseases ad nauseum. On the other hand if we add more organic sodium to our diets, this will give our bodies a chance to build the calcium levels back up. However, these salts act in pairs. Calcuim's twin is Magnesium and Sodium's twin is Potassium. We can dump all the organic sodium we want into the body but if there is not sufficient Potassium, it will be wasted and sloughed off. There are more accepted (readily available) sources for organic sodium then there are for organic Potassium and so for most people there is an imbalance between the two and the musical chairs continues with Potassium the usual victim of no seat left when the music stops. This is why an organic Potassium supplement is so important. The better organic sources are Banannas, Beets, Garlic, Potato and Carrot peels, and good ole Blackstrap Molassas is best of all. Apple cider vinegar is one of nature's best catalysts and so when mixed together with Molassas, becomes Panther Piss, the all around best Potassiums source there is. This is why I recommend it so often, it'll go leaps and bounds to help balance the acid/alkaline ratio and this ratio is always screwed up when someone is ill of a chronic nature. I know I've opened up at least two dozen more questions with the above as my answers are far from complete due to shortage of time, but I've done the best I've could here. Dr. Morter's book is excellent and is a must read for anyone who'd understand these concepts in their entirety. The only place he falls short is in tying "exercise" into a major solution for all this. He never does even pose why the lumber jack can get away with eating 3 or 4 huge steaks (heavy acid ash) and half a dozen eggs in one meal and not only be healthy but with his body actually running alkaline. Hope this helps. Love, Doc Mail SpamGuard - Read only the mail you want.
