Guest guest
Ok, I have started doing the diet change as advised. I've included more raw fruits and veggies. I'm still eating dairy though not a lot. I substituted the coffee for the soda, and I'm drinking more water and more juices. I've been doing this since the 3 day cleanse attempt. Now today I had one dizzy spell when I got up too fast (but that's not to unusual for me, just been awhile since the last one), I now have a sore throat, and I'm sneezing all the time. I've noticed that I don't feel as congested all the time, but there's a lot of sinus drainage going on. I haven't started the total nutrition yet because I don't have any, and Doc is busy moving so no response yet from him. So my question is..is this kind of thing normal during a diet change? I noticed that I'm thinking more clearly and have more energy, not tons more but enough that I've noticed a change. I'm thinking this is just my body getting rid of junk, I just wanted to run it by the group to make sure this is normal kinds of responses. Any feedback is appreciated. Peace, Tee
Guest guest
I love it !! not that you feel bad but I would have to say your on your way.... congratulations to your body for speaking to you and of course your listening to it. I use to get the dizziness alot, all the time and 'I think' some of it may be due to your glycemic index or blood sugar levels due to eating carbs. Are you eating any refined carbs if so than that could be part of it. What quality fruit juices, that's sugar. Maybe occassionally substite w/ a apple cider vinegar maple syrup/light sweeting and water and drinking that down a couple times a day. Guest guest
Thanks Pam, I used to drink the acv and raw, local honey mixed in water as either a warm drink on cold days or with ice on hot ones once a day. I fell into depression (refused the med.'s for a long time, then while on them decided I didn't like them. Prozac made me feel spacey, and Lexipro made me so dizzy I literally couldn't walk at night after taking the pill and it my hearing became so bad it sounded like I was trying to hear sounds from the bottom of a swimming pool. So I was never on them for more than a month. LOL) and I quit taking the drink as well as the exercise program that I had started. I will keep in mind what you said about the carbs (one of my biggest weaknesses I admit thought I've cut back since starting the group), and my sweet tooth I've been attacking with fruits rather than cakes or cookies. They aren't completely out of my diet, but they are much less than they were even 2 weeks ago. Peace, Tee <<Maybe occasionally substitute w/ a apple cider vinegar maple syrup/light sweeting and water and drinking that down a couple times a day. >>
