They value their lives toobut have to give them up in terrible circumstances with pain and cruelty to satisfy human tastebuds, not to mention the hell on earth lives of factory farmed animals.I have to shut up on this part, as I will be in hot water from the mods!> > I am currently reading Mad Cowboy. Guest guest
Hi Anna, Dogs and cats are carnivores (or at least omnivores since some veggies for dogs is considered good by some), so the raw meat would be fine for the furry friends. May take some adjustment for them, though! You can check out this web site for info on raw food diet for dogs: http://www.caninerawdiet.com/CRD/index.html. I know you didn't mention a dog, but when you start rooting around in this info you'll find people that do the raw food (meat) diet for their cats as well. Sounds like you're making a change! Guest guest
Kitties need their meat proteins even more than dogs. If you do give her the chicken raw, you might want to mix a little at a time in with the food she usually gets. That way you are not shocking her onto a raw diet. Janet - DrCrandall herbal remedies Wednesday, February 25, 2004 7:05 AM Herbal Remedies - Definition of a Vegetarian was Cleanse Well, dang, Persian, I have an organic chicken in the freezer, it cost a fortune and 1 can of ocean salmon in the cubboard. Yes kitties can have raw chicken, but it may take some time for them to get used to it. (email me for more info). As we are aware domestic kitties, of which I have 8, and doggies, don't fit into the food chain as wild animals do. Wild ones eat prey lower down the line that they can catch! Now we have domestic animals, cats in particular whose natural diet is mainly meat! I am on a list about rawfeeding cats, I can send it to you personally if you like, or email me with any questions. regards Persian
