Guest guest
This may be more than you want to know... if so, delete it. I'll explain more so everyone can understand my viewpoint and why I think this way. I actually feel this is on topic in a way so here goes. I had always been told that people lived only into their 50's or 60's prior to the great pharma conglomerate's presence. I accepted this because my 'authorities' at the time (teachers/etc) told me so. So I started my family's genealogy. I had thought that one of my grandmother's living to her 97th birthday (born 1891) was spectacular. Not so. It turns out that my ancestors (back to the late 1600's and early 1700's) lived reliably into their 80's or 90's - providing they were born before about 1900. Anyone after that was pretty lucky to make it to 65. So what made them suddenly start dying at an earlier age? After much reading and research, I learned that in about the 1930's or so it was announced that our 'rich farm lands' had been depleted of all vitamins and minerals. I can't seem to find the actual document on the web, but that would make sense and I believe this was the root of the pharma charge. I believe this was about the time that 'wonder drugs' and such started becoming more in vogue. Were they tied together? No way I can find to document it so far. Does this start at the chemical companies making the fertilizers for the plants to help leech the ground even further and start the cycle of rampant disease and syndromes ending with big pharma? Once pharma got a grip, they didn't want to let go. And you wind up where we are today - with bloodsucking pharma conglomerates and their henchmen in the guise of our Medical Deities (MD's). Is there a way to combat them? Probably not without a full revolt as our government is being paid off (lobbyists/FDA) to continue their wondrous trend. I could go on but I'm sure this will trigger the white coat people. So now I'll shaddup. Skip On 15 Mar 2004 at 20:08, Sylvia wrote: > LOL - you should talk to my hubby Skip he is of the same mind.
