Hi Elizabeth,

I agree. I don't usually make judgments and rarely voice my opinion

to the people involved. At one time I volunteered in the court

systems as a child abuse advocate and I've been a literacy and Math

tutor. It breaks my heart to see these children medicated to the

point of not being able to function.

I don't even honestly understand why someone would even take a 4

year old to a psychiatrist in the first place, let alone give them 5

or 6 different psychotropic drugs. However, I promise, I've been

good and not asked these questions aloud anywhere except here.

Hi...

I know i'm coming in about the middle of this but thought i'd throw in my 2 bits worth AFI. Sorry in advance.

Personally i believe that these kids actually need these drugs ONLY because they have eaten their way into insanity! The crap these kids are fed in schools, at home, at fast food joints... is outrageous! If these kids were fed decently, according to their needs and types, things would be much different. Remove all this crap and feed them organic fruits and vegies and ... probably have the difference between night and day with the lion's share of them. But then i guess that would put them poor medicos and pharmicos and chemical peddlers and .. the rest out of business. Don't ya just feel so sorry for 'em?
