Guest guest
Adrenal fatigue can be caused by any chronic physical stressor; however, while the writer highlights emotional stress as a prime physical stressor, he glosses over nutritional deficiency, another stressor. Emotional stress and generalized anxiety has been pretty consitently alleviated with a nutritional program such as that Dr. Abram Hoffer has been using for more than 40 years. The writer went on to completely miss the role that other toxin load plays in physical stress. Clearly, he dallies in the shallow end of the pool. The main detoxifier is the master antioxidant glutathione, which can be elevated with precursors. The important role glutathione plays is detailed on this page of prewritten PubMed queries; obviously the antioxidant pool in general but particularly glutahtione reserves, should be attended to in addition to reducing omega-6 inflammatory oils and doing several liver flushes. I think the sea salt is a bad idea for most people; sodium is a strong potassium depletor and a lot of our trouble relates to incorrect electrolyte levels and low pH. This is a physical stressor. It's better in my view to reduce sodium, use a 70+ mineral supplement or sea vegetables for the trace elements and use potassium salts on your food; potassium (and magnesium) are the main alkalizing minerals that are likely to be deficient. Guest guest
Hi, I have this cool recipe for beating stress from www.healthyjuicecentral.info: Stress is a major cause of illness today including gastritis, headaches, neck pain, indigestion and irritability. This relaxing juice with the calming effects of celery, lettuce and fennel is a must to try. The fructose in the fruit is easily absorbed by the body and is energizing. Ingredients: 3 oz kiwi 4 oz strawberries4 oz pineapple2 oz lettuce2 oz celery2 oz fennel Juice all the ingredients in a juicer and serve in a tall glass with ice. Guest guest
The brand of potassium salts I get is called, aptly enough, " No Salt " ; it contains primarily potassium chloride, and also potassium bitartrate, adipic acid, and fumaric acid, presumably to modify the flavour. I buy it at the grocer. Duncan > What potassium salts would you advise for seasoning? Where does one > get it? >
