Guest guest
I can vouch for honey too.. My late grandmother taught me to use it for all sorts and in particular at the time was to combat a chicken flu that was going around. she would smear it on the chicken's eyes to prevent the blindness that would have occured. Their eyelids used to swell shut. I tried it on two young chickens and they couldn't see at first. They wouldn't leave me and used to perch on my feet in my kitchen till they healed. Another thing I found when I had a leg ulcer that wouldn't heal was that the repeated visits to the clinic every day or two to clean and dress the ulcer wasn't working and in fact it was getting worse. I asked about the pink 'gel' like substance that was collecting in the ulcer and they said not to worry about it but I felt it shouldn't have been there. I had a feeling it was causing me to have to go back all the time. I decided to clean it myself and I used Dead Sea Salt that a friend had sent me some time before. I just dissolved it in hot boiled water and let it cool down then bathed my leg with that. Within days it was all healed up! I had suspicions then about that pink gelatinous substance and believe the medical staff knew it was keeping me as a patient. I've learnt that simple remedies often work better and do what I can to stick to them. Jen
