Guest guest
My 25 year old daughter just called and the cervical biopsy she had last week is showing abnormal, aggressive cells. She was shook up but I think that she said she has CIN II. It appears that they will be doing a conization in the next two to three weeks. OK, so she has never had kids, works full time and hasn't been drinking alcohol since all this started several months ago. She does take some herbs etc…. and has been drinking essiac tea for the past few months and takes pretty good care of herself. I know this is a loaded question but what can I help her with?…. Either sending her things or just emailing advice. She is very open minded and she will listen and weigh everything carefully. I really want her well but it would be nice if she could have a child one day if she chooses. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks Teresa

Guest guest
Teresa, An excellent book for you to track down has an interesting cancer section, but the book is actually on holistic health by Dr. Light Miller (N.D.), Ayurvedic Remedies for the Whole Family, Lotus Press, 1999, 470 pages in paperback. It lists lots of herbs to take internally for cancer. Processed foods to avoid is important as well as what to eat and how to cleanse. Cancer is a sign that the body is out of balance and needs cleansing. One theory of cancer is that very poor nutrition combined with poor toxin elimination results in a weakened system over years and an overload of toxins, both internal and external, in addition to emotional stresses and psychic shocks piling up. Doctors usually don't tell their patients, but the pH becomes too acidic and pushes the cellular biochemical systems into a cancer-promoting mode where cancer promoters begin to activate the process. Cancer switches inside the cells called " promoters " are turned on and activated. To improve nutrition, juicing with fresh organic fruits and vegetables needs to be done daily and taking greens will help improve nutrition. Colon cleansing and ensuring daily elimination of toxins and cellular waste products is critical, or else the toxins will be reabsorbed into the body. Better nutrition is critical to turning the cancer cellular mechanism " off " like turning off a light switch! We met Dr. Light Miller three summers ago in Florida where we took a seminar from her and Dr. Brian Miller, DC, her husband. They are amazing individuals and have a wealth of information on holistic health and healing. Today many people are using super nutrition, cleansing and healing modalities to make their cancers go away. Your daughter may need to make some changes in her life style. Also it's important to be positive and loving, not negative and giving into fear from the doctors, and having faith and praying for a healthy outcome. Neil ============================================================================== Chapter 13 excerpt - 75 Health Conditions & Their Treatments, section on " Cancer, " pp. 290-291. Cancer Cancer is a process of the cells reproducing out of control and attacking other tissues of the body. Rebelling against the central authority of the body/mind. It can be caused by chronic constipation, poor digestion, food sensitivity, poor diet, suppressed emotions, lack of spiritual connection, exposure to chemicals, and environmental hazards. Eastern Ayurvedic describes three basic body types: Vata, Pitta and Kapha, and combinations of them. Vatas are more prone to colon, bone, stomach cancers and dry tumors; Pittas are more prone to liver, stomach, pancreas, skin, brain, and lymph cancer. Kaphas are more prone to melanoma, tumors, lung, and breast cancer. Feeling and Emotions can strongly contribute to cancer: Self hate, criticism, judgements, and belief in suffering and separation.
