Scented Bath Bags

For a relaxing bath!

25g (1oz) rolled oats

25g (1oz) dried lavender

25g (1oz) dried lemon balm or lemon verbena leaves

15g (1/2 oz) dried orange peel

15g (1/2 oz) dried lemon peel

2 dried bay leaves

2 dried rosemary sprigs

8 small muslin bags - 20 x 15 cm (8 x 6 inches)

string

Mix together the oats, lavender and lemon balm or verbena leaves. Using a mortar and pestle lightly crush the orange and lemon peel and the bay

leaves and add to the oat mixture. Break up the rosemary and add to the mixture. Divide the mixture between the bags and tie with string.

To use, hang a sachet from the hot tap while running a bath so that the

water releases the fragrance from the bag. Keep the bathroom door shut to keep it all in!

A gift idea would be to put all 8 sachets in a wicker basket with some sea shells.
