Instant Leg Cramp Relief

Let's turn our attention to leg cramps today with an

instant relief natural remedy as well as a dietary

solution.

The instant relief comes from Wynell W...

Chet, I use a teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar

for leg cramps, and they instantly leave. I usually put

one teaspoon in about 3 oz. water. Have never used it

for morning sickness; wonder if it would work for

chemo sickness. -- Wynell

The dietary relief comes from my early health

reading before I spent many years living and eating

conventionally.

I had a spell when I was a hot-shot tennis-playing

teenager some 35 years or so ago when I had painful

leg craps at night on a regular basis. Once I started

eating a banana or two every day, they went away.

Both of these easy and natural solutions work so

give 'em a try the next time you get a leg cramp.

And, one other thing -- gently stretching your calf

muscles before going to bed has also been reported

as being helpful by a couple of health tip readers.

Oh, why not one more? This one's from Gail, who

wrote: "The best and most unlikely tip I received

on relieving muscle cramps is this: Squeeze your

bottom lip with your fingers (each side in to the

middle) until the cramp disappears. It works!"

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."

Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882 - 1945), quoted Kansas City Star, June 5, 1977
