Guest guest
WRINKLES Like bad eggs and smelly fish, nobody seems to want wrinkles. But, unfortunately, not wanting them isn't enough to keep them out of our lives and faces, is it? Well, wrinkles may be slowed down and kept at bay with a Vitamin E mask. Mix one egg yolk with the contents of a Vitamin E capsule (you want the oil inside the capsule, not the capsule itself -- cut off one end with scissors and pour the oil carefully into the egg yolk). Apply to your face and rinse off after fifteen minutes. Here's another simple recipe you can try on those old wrinkles: gently stew an apple in milk for 20 to 30 minutes. Puree it and apply, warm but not hot, and rinse off when cool. Want one more home-made anti-wrinkle recipes? Well, okay. At Neatfacts.com we aim to please. Here it is: Mix together two tablespoons of sour cream and a grated raw potato (medium-sized and peeled). Apple to face or wrinkled area that needs attention and leave on for twenty minutes before rinsing off. Try these suggestions. Even if they don't take ten years off your face, you'll thoroughly enjoy the fresh smells. While we're on the topic of wrinkles, let's also consider face masks, shall we? FACE MASKS Below are a couple of recipes for a soothing face mask that you can apply once a week to benefit your skin. Pawpaws contain a tenderizing enzyme. Mash half a medium-sized ripe pawpaw and mix with one well-beaten egg white. Apply to your face and rinse when the mask is almost dry to the touch. Here's an even easier face mask recipe: Mix two tablespoons of honey with two tablespoons of plain yogurt. Apply to face and leave to dry for about 20 minutes before rinsing off Sensitive skin, which is often aggravated by face masks, will enjoy a soothing treat if you cover it with pureed green grapes. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes while you relax, but don't let your significant other see you unless you want your face licked. Whoa! At Neatfacts, my wife prefers the L'Bri Facial Masque to any of the home-made concoctions she's whipped up over the years. She calls the L'Bri Facial Masque "a face lift without the surgeon or bills." I know you'll enjoy adding these common sense, inexpensive, and interesting tidbits of skincare wisdom to your bag of health tricks.
