Guest guest
Set the Mood Session Prep Previous | Next >> Create a pleasant mood and relax. You may like to have some soothing music playing and/or aromatherapy candle burning in the background. Have the person lie down on his back, recline or sit upright. If he is laying on his back offer a small pillow to be positioned under the knees for comfort. Place one towel upon the pillow and another towel to cover hair and neck to protect from flame. As with all healing sessions it is beneficial to have a clear intention in your heart and mind. Take a moment to silently ask for spiritual guidance to assist you during the ear candling procedure. Ground and center yourself. Light the wide end of the cone and tap until smoke spirals out the small end. Be sure to have a small basin of water within arms reach to extinguish the candle in at any time in case of a flame getting out of hand. Gently place small end on the ear canal. Adjust cone to seal the ear canal. Blow on ear until sealed. No smoke should escape out of the ear canal. The ash from the ear candle needs to be cut off frequently to keep the burning end open. Position the bowl of water under the burning candle to catch the clipped ashes as they drop. Let the candle burn no closer than four inches from the recipient's face. Cut flame off or douse the burnt tip in water basin. Place remaining candle into the water bowl. Clean out the ear with cotton swab dipped in oil. Gently swab the visable ares of the ear canal, do not delve deep inside the ear with the swab. The oil will soothe the nerve endings. If one ear still feels plugged, you can use another cone. You can use a pendulum or muscle testing to see if another cone is needed. Face the person to you or position yourself at the head with the person lying down, face up. Place your hands on both ears and wait for an energy pulse between your palms. Silently release the person's energy field from yours. Put cotton in the ears to protect from wind if you are going outdoors (not necessary indoors). Optionally, a few drops of ear-oil or olive oil may be put on the cotton. Clean and sanitize bowl. Remove wax from scissors with fire or hot water and wipe with paper towel.
