BEE POLLEN

There

are as many different pollens as there are various species of plants, flowers,

or vegetation. Bee pollen is removed from the bee's legs as they return

to the hive by means of a mesh hardware cloth. The pollen falls into a

trap below where it is easily collected by the beekeeper. Pollen is the

richest source of vitamins, minerals, proteins, amino acids, hormones, enzymes

and fats. Finding a local beekeeper is the best bet for freshness.

Local pollens are helpful for people with allergies because they strengthen the

immune system.

Pollen

color is determined and controlled by the minerals and other content of the

soil and the species of blooms visited by the bees. Pollen is a pure, raw

natural food that can increase energy, strengthen the immune system and nourish

the body. As a supplementary food, the daily intake of pollen can be

about one tablespoon for persons enjoying good health. However, for those

in a poor state of health, invalids or elderly persons who need a total

revitalization, from one to three tablespoons may be spread out over a day but

start out with a ½ teaspoon and work up gradually as some people need to start

off slowly with Bee Pollen.

Pollen

may be taken daily as a food supplement for any period of time. It is

considered best to take the pollen combined with honey or fruit juice on an

empty stomach. The ideal time is thought to be before a meal, preferably

breakfast, when the stomach is completely empty, however, it can be taken

before other meals during the day.

Many

of us enjoy Bee Pollen in our early morning Total Nutrition drink!

Like the Article states, the best place to get Bee Pollen is from your local

Bee Farmers. It is good to support your local Bee Farmer because

Honey Bees are having a hard time surviving in the city and this gives them a

way to make a come back and thrive!!!
