Take by the light of the full moon; the potion will infuse your glands and

enrich the blood.

-found on an Egyptian papyrus

 

1 pint of water

1 oz. mashed Licorice root

1 oz. sesame seed, mashed

1 oz bruised Fennel seed

honey

 

Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and simmer

for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and infuse until cold. Strain. Take 1/2 oz. twice

a day, with your lover's hair wrapped around your finger, while intoning the

magic ritualistic words:

 

" I am possessed by burning love for this man/woman whose name is

.............and whose lock of hair I hold in my hand. Let the man/woman yearn

for me, desire me, let his/her desire burn for me! Let this love come forth

from the spirit and enter him/her. Magnetize the potion with his/her love

force. I love him/her, want him/her: I drink this potion (drink half and later

he/she drinks other half) and my desire reaches out to him/her. Oh Gods, let

him/her become filled with love. O spirits of the air search him/her out and

fill him/her with the winds of love. Oh Gods of the brink let him/her burn with

love for me. "
