Guest guest
I strongly urge everyone to use distilled or reverse osmosis water for all drinking and cooking purposes. CS may kill bacteria, but chlorine, florides, and many other contaminants abound. The latest know danger is pesticides and hormones, nanoparticles. I have a water distiller that makes a gallon at a time, roughly 2 gals a day. The stench from the remains when it's finished is unbelievable. I ran a gallon of reverse osmosis water through from a refill machine, no smell. For me, distilled is more convenient and cheaper, possibly better. Guest guest
Make sure though if you are going to drink distilled water that you supplement with minerals, it is removed from the distilled water and we all know how important minerals are. Even if one eats well (fruits/veggies) our soil is still so depleted. In addition to what Rhoda said there is now evidence of pharmacuticals in our tap water as well. Reverse Osmosis doesn't have to be expensive. We rent ours for $25.00 a month from our local Culligan Water company. It is nicely hidden under our kitchen sink and the water tastes fantastic. I believe a small price to pay for real drinking water that isn't so contaminated, after all our health is everything.
