My mammogran is due next month and I plan to cancel it now. It has always hurt badly and once I had to have it done eight times because they couldn't get a read on it. I told them to take it easy and they never do!

I pay so much for insurance out of pocket and this is covered but don't care now. Calling today and thanks for all the info put out there on mammograms. I feel badly for the real elderly who get these too.

The place I go to is like a factory, there are women who get bused in to have them and the wait is horrendous. They also ask you to stop coffee for two weeks before, did it once would never do it again.

Hugs,

I would like to share that I have never had a mammogram but my physician said I am at the age to begin. I opted for thermography instead. I have had 2 scans to obtain my baseline. I am in the process of buying a rebounder to really clean my lymph system. It will be interesting to see next years scan to see if I improved......
