Guest guest
Hello All, Regarding regular screening for breast cancer. What to you recommend as screening? I have had a doctor give a manual check and scan twice so far (once at 38 and once at 40) and now (at 41 no history of any type of cancer in the family and over two years of breastfeeing) am being sent for a Mammography. I remember you are against Mammography and I am considering cancelling my appointment but would like to know if you suggest any particular kind of screening. Thanks Nelly
Guest guest
Definitely not mammography especially at your age! Breast tissue too dense anyway, for accuracy.Too manyy false positives, too many false negatives. Even then, too destructive of breast tissue - so heaven knows what it does to tumours, if they are present.. The stress itself is acidifying and thus bad for your health. If there really is a reason for the dr deciding you need mammography, and it's not just padding the bill or a fishing exped, I would go for thermography. Guest guest
Ask your doctor about blood tests - such as AMAS, DR-70, C-Reactive Protein, CEA and liver tests that look for inflammation markers and assess liver health.Jonathan Chamberlain www.fightingcancer.com--- On Mon, 10/13/08, Noelle Venini <nellycave wrote:Noelle Venini <nellycave Re:Basic anti-cancer tips - Breast cancer screeningoleander soup Date: Monday, October 13, 2008, 8:53 AM Hello All, Regarding regular screening for breast cancer.
