As far as I know there is no one here in my area who does thermography yet anyway. I am waiting to cancel my mammogram on Friday because I don't want my doctor calling asking why I didn't have it. I just want to say I feel sick is all.

 

I absolutely HATE mammograms not to mention they bring in women in busses to this place I go to, almost like a factory type thing going on there. They make you wait forever for the results too. They try to get you off of caffeine for two weeks too. Then they try to guilt you into staying in case they need to take more pics. One time they had to do it around six times on one side, when I was in my young forties. Just can't believe how much it hurt and continues to.

 

Just heard they cut down on the radiation but what about before when the radiation was really high???

If you go back through the posts, we discussed this issue of mammogram vs thermography. Mammograms have dismal results in detecting cancer, sometimes throwing up red flags where there are none and causing distress for women.

 

Bonnie, have you googled thermography and your city to see if there are any clinics nearby? You can also call any ND in your area - they will know where you can get one. In my area they have a roving thermography clinic that travels out of Toronto and out to the northern parts of the province. I catch up with them at the town closest to me.
