Guest guest
<snip> > I do not know who is students are therefore I cannot > answer this questions. I know of 2 who have published, Dianne M. Connelly ( " Traditional Acupuncture; The Law of the Five Elements " and " All Sickness is Home Sickness " ) and Eliot Cowan ( " Plant Spirit Medicine " ). In Dianne's book " Trad. Accu... " she shows some of Worsley's charts but in case studies she presents there and as part of a one day class she travels around giving (when she's not teaching at her school in Baltimore) she gives the English translation of Chinese point name. Her delivery is quite poetic. btw, You lucked out in finding that book by Worsley. Amazon lists everything by him as either out of stock or print. Guest guest
Penel, Thanks for the info I am familiar with Dianne M. Connelly ( " Traditional Acupuncture; The Law of the Five Elements " ) I actually have her book and it is very easy to understand. I would agree that she is poetic in her delivery of the information. I stumbled over her book at the half price book store and purchased it just for fun but found out that it contained lots of useful info. For $2.95 I could hardly pass up an acupuncture book. Teeeheeee. I really wanted more info on 5 Element Acupuncture since it is so different from Meridian Style and it seemed like an easy read and was. She does a nice job of relating the elements to nature which sticks in my head easier. Plus it makes me pay more attention to the world around me. Someone once described what Mugwort (Moxa) looked like growing (which we have all over Indiana growing wild). They said no wonder it is so powerful it grows so tall and strong and just looks powerful. I grew some this year and it was so beautiful, an! d just commands such a presence. I can hardly wait for next year because I hear it multiplies quickly. Shane
