Guest guest
I just wanted to see if anyone knows about or has anything to say about this chart. They explain some of it at this site which is where I found the image http://www.healingdao.com/inner_alchemy.html (I edited the image to make it more viewer friendly) Does anybody know of an introduction to this? Is there a specific name for this system?
Guest guest
As far as I can see it shows the tripple burner with the fire and the water kidney at the bottom belonging to water from were energy rises through the spine towards MingMen wich is the little fire in the course of the spine. Above the Kidneys you can see a countryside with woods in the colours of green and yellow referring to Liver and Spleen. Then there is this tunnel-looking thing in the course of the spine wich I suppose relavates to the diaphragm and is the border to the upper burner consisting of heart and lungs wich I can't associate to any colours or symbols I know. Maybe the little red YoYo with the funny boy on top reffers to the joy as the emotion of the heart and everything that comes above is the possible evolution of a higher spirit that I can't fit in to my knowings of the Tripple Burner theory. Guest guest
Close... Here's what someone from another group wrote (really had me going until she started talking about hexagrams): >This is Inner Alchemy as viewed and by an old alchemist (700 years before Christ)>The water below represents Jing energy. This is the representation of a human body and its connection with the forces fo nature. >The wheels and the cow (perineum) represent the sexual energy and its transformation in Qi energy. The picture shows the movement >and transformation of Yin and Yang energy inside. They call this path - Microcosmic Orbit. >The yellow energy is the Qi energy. The 4 Tai Chi symbol is the Caldron. The forest, the wood, energy of the liver. The golden ball the >solar plexus point of energy. The woman sewing is the work of the kidney. The second ball with the green color inside is the heart point >of energy. The man with the hands up, is the tongue linking the Yin and Yang path of the microcosmic orbit. The Yin part of that orbit is >the Functional Channel, it runs in the front part of your body and the Governor Channel runs in the back part of your body. The man sat >at the up of this picture is the crown energy point; it links you to heaven energy (shen). >In the back it shows the movement of the Yang energy from hexagram 2 (Kun) (when at the perineum) and the hexagram 24 >when it >arrives at the cocxi, Hexagram 19 when the energy arrives at the sacrum bone, hex 11 when it comes to the door of life the >second >and third lombar, Hexagram 34 when it arrives at the T-11 and so on... In the front it is the reverse way- descending from >Hexagram 1 >(Qian) at the crown back to hex 2 at the perineum. >Mantak Chia´s system, teaches how to work as shown in this picture. He teaches how to work your inner energy to balance Yin and >Yang forces and to open the Microcosmic Orbit.
