Guest guest
If you want to explore the meaning of the point names, I highly recommend a beautiful book entitled 'Grasping the Wind' - paradigm publications, by Wiseman and Boss. Explains the significance of the name of each point. Daniel

Explains the significance of the name of each point. Thanks for the recommendation. The names of these points often will give insight into what they do and help people remember. Sort of like memory aids. Victoria _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
Guest guest
>BL 2: Zanzhu - gathered bamboo/drilling bamboo Thanks for the list. The one that always has stood out for me is Bladder-2, Drilling Bamboo because when I work it using acupressure I get a drilling sensation. I just found out that this is another point in addition to GB-37, Brightness, for eliminating " floaters " in the eyes. I've always used it for sinus congestion due to Wind. (It expels Wind.) I didn't know about its use for floaters. It's worked very well for me for sinus congestion. Since starting to use this point, I've never been as congested as I had been in the past. Before when the wind blew, it was like I was totally locked up immediately. Now, it's a lot milder when I do have problems, and easier to get rid of We've had some very fierce wind yesterday and today, and so far I'm open though I was sneezing a lot this morning. There hasn't been much in the way of discharge - just a little when I sneeze. I've noticed with other points besides BL-2 that acupressure not only can clear up symptomss, over time it gives increased resistence to problems.
