Guest guest
Hi again everybody, I've been to an acupuncturist (today was the second meeting), but I'm very confused. I have problems with anxiety and panic atack (and some physical problems- dizziness, tumbness, " tickle " in all left side of the body etc). But after second meeting I feel strange: It's like I don't feel my body anymore, more imbalanced and I am very afraid. The doctor said it's normal because I've been strained for years ( and I've had no occupation for years)and now the energy equilibrate. But now I have an incomfort just like I am not very present in my body and - and thus much stronger panic atacks. I also have to said that I had these symtoms when I cleaned my nose & respiratory system,(some years ago) but after some months I didn't feel better. What should I do? Should I abandon my acupuncture session?

Did the acupuncturist do a tongue diagnosis? Please look in the mirror and tell me what color your tongue is, especially the tip? My tongue is pink (and pink-white to the base) and at the base it's got some little sores (I dont know if that word is correct), something like acnea. My mouth is a little too dry. Others details I can tell you by my e-mail or in this forum.

He should have given you the TCM diagnosis - if he does TCM and not just Western-style acupuncture. Some clients don't want the TCM diagnosis, but when someone asks, it is NOT too complicated. The herbalist I saw spelled out everything in detail, including the TCM dianoses as well as what every herb in the tea formula did as well as what various formulas in capsules and tinctures were for. There is a tongue gallery on Dr. Maciocia's website which may give you some finer points on tongue diagnosis. I forget the meaning of a pointed tongue. The dryness definitely can be a symptom of Blood Deficiency as can be a pale tongue. Look up the symptoms of both Blood Deficiency and Yin Deficiency in the message base.
