Guest guest
Thanks Tai, you got it right. In this technique, the needle is inserted like traditional acupunture for other points in the scull (not only scalp acupunture). For example, to place a needle at Bauhui (Du-20) point, you first insert the needle in an angle of 45 degrees or more and then push subcutaneously backward (or forward sometimes) 1.5 cun The methods developed by Proffessor Jin Riu are based on traditional acupunture, not scalp acupunture, but in this particular case, two needles overlap with two lines of scalp acupunture. Insertion is subcutaneous downward, for example, the first needle is inserted 2 cun just above the apex of the ear, and push downward in the direction to the apex of the ear, 1.5 cun " deep " . With this technique you 'crawl' along the scalp and 1-2 cun insertions are regularly used. After inserting the needle at the side of the head you can needle 1.5 cun 'downwards'.
