Detox

Could anyone point me at any hard data on the subject of detox? Has a

mobilisation of toxins from treating the liver actually been

documented?

 

I read the article on Leaky Gut and TCM, posted the url for a couple

of other folk I know would be interested on another list, and got the

usual 'Bah humbug' from a western medical practitioner.

 

So many of the Oriental/Asian medical systems use some form of detox

proceedure, I wonder if it has ever been quantified in any way??
