US Government Asks Court to Seal Vaccine Records

 

WASHINGTON (Reuters Health) - Attorneys for the Bush Administration

asked a federal court on Monday to order that documents on hundreds

of cases of autism allegedly caused by childhood vaccines be kept

from the public.

 

Department of Justice lawyers asked a special master in the US Court

of Federal Claims to seal the documents, arguing that allowing their

automatic disclosure would take away the right of federal agencies to

decide when and how the material should be released.

 

Attorneys for the families of hundreds of autistic children charged

that the government was trying to keep the information out of civil

courts, where juries might be convinced to award large judgments

against vaccine manufacturers.

My comments: The problems caused by faulty vaccinations are a whole

lot easier to prevent than to deal with once they have occured. By

having the courts seal these records, it becomes much harder not only

for the families of children injured by these vaccinations to win

their cases in civil court (and thus put pressure on manufacturers to

stop producing unsafe products), it also means that other people will

be denied information they need to make informed decisions regarding

rather or not to vaccinate and how many vaccinations and at what age.

 

And why should federal agencies have the right to determine what we

can and cannot know? This is censorship, pure and simple. This also

runs counter to the Freedom of Information Act. The FOIA was enacted

because knowledge is power, and it was recognized that without

protecting citizens' right to know, bad things can be done to

Americans with few knowing about them.

 

This one looks like another give-away to huge campaign contributors

in the pharmaceutical industry. And given the Eli Lilly executives

serving in this administration and the amount of power they enjoy,

this move to hide information that the public needs in order to make

informed decisions is not surprising.

 

Look for more attempts to hide vital information on a number of

things: Various prescription drugs (especially prozac), genetically

altered crops, the effectiveness of herbs and other alternative

therapies when measured against prescription drugs and surgery,

kickbacks to doctors for prescribing certain drugs, irradiation of

food, contamination of food, contamination of water, links between

pollution and certain health problems, etc.

You sure can. You and others have my permission to crosspost any

posts of mine as long as credit is given to me and to Chinese Traditional Medicine.

 

These are issues that concern me greatly. As I've said, the problems

caused by too many vaccines and too many at too young of an age and

by the additives in these vaccines is a health problem which is far

easier to prevent than to deal with once the damage has occured.

 

I also have some big concerns about forced medication. It comes from

all the years I did volunteer work in the field of psychiatric abuse

and fraud and from my familiarity with the forced anthrax

vaccinations of military personnel. My husband is retired military.

Fortunately he was out before the forced anthrax vaccinations began.

But he was one of those young sailors who deliberately were exposed

to atomic bomb testing even though the government had known for

decades that radiation is lethal. Fortunately he's in good health in

spite of what he was subjected to.

 

Forced medication, be it drugs or vaccinations, is great for

someone's profits, but it's lousy medicine. People need choice.

They also need knowledge to enable them to make informed decisions.

Unfortunately, both are becoming more and more rare.
