Guest guest
Can anyone give me some facts on Depo Vera. I have two of my daughters on it. Because of their not understanding female things. But I am not comfortable about what I am hearing or the doctors denial of it not being a problem. Societies will be judged someday, on how well they treated the least of their people. Guest guest
Linda, I think what you are referring to is 'depot provera' [ depot = injection ; provera trade name for progesterone ] you can check it here for example http://www.iowainfertility.com/Endometriosis.htm where it says amongst other things :- " Progesterone (Depot Provera) " Progesterone can also prevent ovulation and does not include any estrogen. However, Depot Provera may cause long-term loss of ovulation after medication is stopped. Therefore, if a woman still has childbearing interest, Depot Provera is not recommended. TCM has a long track record of dealing with womens' problems - get your girls down to an accredited practitioner as soon as possible for a second opinion. Cheers, Sammy.
