Guest guest
Dear Doug and All, I see CM developing in parts of the American stage not at all occupied by healthcare delivery in the WM sense. CM shares the stage also with such things as yoga, aerobics, gyms and a myriad of other personal development modalities and institutions. From the perspective of such people as Nam Singh and Michael Broffman, CM is as much or more about changing lifestyle as receiving acupuncture and herb treatments when sick. It seems that patients/clients may be as likely to see the practitioner for qigong, taichi, dietary adjustments and lifestyle assessments as they are to receive medical treatment ... at least this is CM's potential. This is another reason that the constellation of institutions with CM at its center will look different from the constellation of institutions with WM at its center.
