Guest guest
Hi guys, This is my first post, and I'm very glad to be here as I see that it is a very active group. I have been interested in herbal medicine for a long time, and have been going to a TCM doctor for about 15 years. I am also actively involved in the NVI, or natural vision improvement, movement. I studied vision improvement exercises about 5 years ago, and I was so successful I have decided to change careers and become a vision-training optometrist. Becoming a VTOD will take me about 10 years. Meanwhile I have a home page and newsgroup about vision training. There are many methods used in vision training, and one approach is that of nutrition and supplementation, both with vitamins and herbs. I am frequently asked about herbs that will effect vision improvement. By this I mean herbs that will promote the health of the retina and also that might reverse refractive disorders such as myopia and astigmatism. If anyone has info about this, please let me know. My TCM guy showed me a red berry, which he said was used for retina problems, but he didn't know what it was called in English. Cheers, Francine
