Guest guest
Hi Chris, thanks, and yes, he was already on a diet not of my prescribing (wich I don't do anyway) but on a very low-fat, no pork or red meat at nights... and no beans. Here in Brazil we eat almost daily black beans w/rice and usually there's all kinds of pork on the beans, it's the national basic dish. May be good for the kidneys though, anyone knows about the properties of black beans? Anyway, the diet did not seem to influence significantly the headache problem. Did you have anything specific in mind (I'm not an MD remember! Cheers Daniel.

Food allergies will sometimes trigger migraines. Look first to wheat and dairy, then gluten's in general and nightshades. There are a lot of people that change their diet and years of migraines go away. Also, excess heat of cold can lead to migraines. If the diet exacerbates the underlying problem, it could lead to migraines. Acupuncture and herbs are great. Diet often rules in the power to heal. And I'm not an MD either. ;-) All the best, Chris
